A few questions to Virginia

What made you start teaching?

I was a substitute art teacher for a few years when an unfortunate incident caused the permanent art teacher position to become available.

What do you get out of teaching?

My favorite part of teaching art is making it so the student is not afraid to try new things.  I want them to feel comfortable enough to create art on their own.

Tell me something people would be surprised to find out about you.

I have been raising butterflies for 3 years.  It is magical and fun to release them!  I like being able to watch their life cycle
