We are excited, proud and grateful to be receiving a grant from Mathews Market Days this year. We know there were many worthy applicants and we are glad to have been selected for an award. The $425 grant will pay for materials for our children's art classes for the rest of 2016. We are happily lowering the prices on the website right now! We know that local families have a limited number of dollars to spend on activities for their children, so we strive to make our art classes as affordable as possible. Art-making is important for children's development, not just to let their creativity loose but to teach them important skills, like problem-solving, that can be applied to every part of their lives. Thanks to the Grant Committee for recognizing the value in what we offer the community!
