Gwynn’s Island artist Gib Pulley is a watercolorist whose love of waterfowl, people, and color are captured in her paintings.  Gib, a native of Petersburg, Virginia, graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She first began painting in 1979 when she studied under Bill Martz, Betty Schultz, and David Daniels. Her paintings reflect the Chesapeake Bay on which she lives, including beach people, children and waterfowl.

Gib exhibits locally at the Bay School and surrounding areas such as Gloucester, Williamsburg. She lives with her husband, Wayne on Gwynn’s island, VA. They have four children and ten grandchildren.
